New facility expands mental health care in Osage County.
PAWHUSKA, OKLA. – GRAND Mental Health plans to expand reach of services in Osage County with a new and improved location for the Pawhuska Outpatient Services Clinic. The new location will open for patient treatment on November 1.
Currently located in downtown Pawhuska, the GRAND Outpatient Services Clinic provides a variety a mental health care services to approximately 400 individuals, including counseling, rehabilitation, and case management.
The new clinic, located at 1228 Pecan Avenue, will provide the same evidence-based services in a completely renovated building. Through a
series of remodels, the facility will be updated to accommodate more clients and future expansions in service.
“Increasing access to mental health care is critical. This new facility will allow us to continue to expand our reach and provide services to the people of Osage County,” said GRAND Mental Health Chief Executive Officer, Larry Smith.
“We are excited to open Phase 1 with more upgrades and expanded services coming soon”, added Josh Cantwell, GRAND Mental Health Chief Operating Officer. “This growth would not be possible without the support of our partners in the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.”
The current clinic located at 124 East 6th Street will discontinue services at the end of October as the new clinic prepares to open. Information
regarding an official open house event at the new location to be announced at a later date.
